Route Notes
Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) West to Exit 90 or Route 146 for downtown Worcester. The Framingham–Westborough stretch of the Pike is the consistent afternoon slowdown; Route 9 is the surface alternate but rarely faster door-to-door. Worcester Regional Airport sits on the city's west side via Airport Drive - allow 10–15 minutes beyond downtown.
Worcester Regional Airport (ORH)
ORH is a genuine alternative to Logan for central Massachusetts travelers, with JetBlue and American service and far faster curbside access. TiLimousine connects ORH with Boston, MetroWest, and Logan itself for travelers repositioning between airports - flight tracking included on every arrival pickup.
Corporate, Medical, and Event Travel
UMass Chan Medical School and UMass Memorial Medical Center generate steady executive and visiting-faculty travel between Boston and Worcester. DCU Center concerts, conventions, and Railers games add evening demand - post-event pickups stage off Foster Street rather than the arena curb. The Hanover Theatre, Polar Park, and Mechanics Hall are served on the same basis. Worcester is also a working stop on longer I-90 West itineraries toward Springfield and Albany.
